Boise Code Camp 2011

The Boise Code Camp is definitely one of my favorite conferences to attend.  The folks in Boise know how to put on a great show.  I've always had a great time there.  I like the location, I like the attendees, I like the hallway conversations.  What makes this code camp exceptional are the people - those who organize, who present, and who attend.  Its really amazing when I start to think of all the associations, contacts, and friends who I first met at a Boise Code Camp.  I first met Glenn Block in a hallway conversation between sessions at the 2008 Boise Code Camp.  I'm positive he would say the same things about the people in Boise.

Last year I drove an all-nighter from Portland to Boise and showed up at 7am.  I was wasted and beat, but I had a blast.  I've been on the fence about whether or not to do the same thing this year.  The Boise Code Camp is February 26-27, and I've got to be up in Seattle on the 27th.  Unfortunately I won't be able to attend i this year.  I'm seriously frustrated out about this.  Rats.

The Boise Code Camp is a conference that I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend.  If you can fit it into your schedule then you definitely should attend.  These guys are passionate about mobile, I mean, you should have seen  all the sessions they had last year on iPhone, Android, and UX.  I'm looking at the current schedule right now and I'm seeing this pattern continue.  Here's a list of the sessions submitted so far which will be covering mobile (more will be coming):

I really wish I could be there.  I can't say it enough, these guys put on a quality show.  I guarantee that if you make the effort to attend you will not be disappointed.
